What kind of gear do you use?
I shoot Canon. I bring a variety of lenses with me to sessions and I also like to play with a prism lens, copper pipes and other gadgets to create artistic shots that add variety to your gallery.
Can I order prints?
In addition to your digital downloads that come with your package, you can purchase prints, framed photos, books, holiday cards, etc. through my photo galleries. However, ordering images is not a requirement for my packages. I also recommend Millers Lab, mPix, and Artifact Uprising for printing. I would not recommend taking them to a local pharmacy because the color, temperature, and sharpness of the image may not come out the same as how you see the image on the screen.
What should I expect the day of my photo shoot?
Each session is personalized and I will send you an information packet prior to our meeting. l send out multiple emails prior to the shoot, so you will have what you need to do to be prepared.
Are your sessions posed?
I want the session to be a fun memory, so I do my best to make my shoots play-based and as natural as possible. I do get some posed shots, but mostly I love unscripted and candid moments.
What should we/I wear?
Wear clothes that make you feel like you. If you are a couple or in a group, try to coordinate your clothing so that the colors look nice together. It's always nice to have a pop of color or a contrast of someone wearing a pattern in a group of solid color clothing. Bring layering options to quickly change the look, for example: a jean jacket, a hat, a blanket to wrap up in, etc. It's best to avoid clothing with visible logos.
Do you offer photo books?
Yes, I offer photo books, but they are an add-on to packages. If this interests you, let me know when you book or after we shoot. As someone who takes on the task of making photo books for my family, I know how time consuming it can be. Please let me know if I can help you with that burden by adding a photo book to your order. Pricing available upon request.
Am I vaccinated?
Yes. While the pandemic is still happening, I will wear a mask during sessions. I do not expect my clients to mask up because I will keep a safe distance from you.
How will I receive my photos?
After each session you will receive access to an online gallery that allows for digital downloads. I will also provide you with a USB drive that will have both the high and low resolution images as well.
